Hearts, red, pink, flowers, love, roses, and candy. Those are words that pop into a persons head when they hear the word February. My head thinks - HOLIDAY! It's my birthday!! February 17 is my birthday. This year it is on a Wednesday (and if I'm correct, I think I was born on a Wednesday - mom help me out with this one). As a kid I didn't know if I really liked my birthday in the middle of winter. I didn't get to play outdoor water games like my brother did (he has a May birthday). The party favors were great though, hearts, candies and pink! I remember one year my mom made me a heart shaped birthday cake with pink frosting.Now when it comes to Valentine's, I guess I haven't ever really made a big deal out of this holiday. I figured, why not love that person and show them 365 days a year vs. going all out on one day of the year?
