Wow I'm quite the blog poster today! I was checking my email I subscribe to a home / apt. type email thing that shows off different houses and ideas. ANYWAY! Today had this room!
The dark colors on the wall is pretty much the color I'm going for in our future family room. However, we are only doing it on the fireplace wall and the rest will be a lighter gray. I LOVE IT! Our accent colors will be Red & mustard (plus black & white). I really love what they did with the fireplace. I'm trying to figure out what to do with ours. So I'm glad I saw this post. Stunning huh? We have wood floors too, about that color! I can not WAIT to decorate.
Check out Demolition Gasper to see what we are up to.

Holiday Expo Sneak
I'm gearing up for the weekend - the Holiday Expo! I've been frantically making cards & holiday gift tags to sell, packing up my container hoping I have everything I need and getting excited to show off the MemoryWorks products!
Here are a few things I created to sell at the event. So even if you are not a scrapbooker - you can stop by my table!! I'm also selling some coffee cozies as well.
Do you see the corner of those cards up in the corner above??...those are for an ATC swap I'm hosting...sneak peek gals.
I've been a busy bee. For the cards above there are 2 different sets and I had to make custom envelopes for them. That was quite the process. But they look great!
Well hope to see you at the show if you live in the Twin Cities. Also, "follow" my blog for a chance to win a custom made coffee cozy of your choice!

My Space to be
I was checking out my blog roll today and Imaginisce was asking how do you organize your space (they also have a giveaway). Honestly, my current space is a mess. I can't exactly put up the items I want to TRULY organize the space the way I would.
Here is my room now, not bad, not excellent - love the desk, was our computer desk. I kind of took it over :D
So today I want to share my ideas for my space to be... here are some photos of my space to be:
It is a smaller room then I currently have (a lot smaller), but it has a GREAT closet organizer that will be so handy! And don't you love that built in shelf?? Plus, there are 2 windows! Hello natural light!
Here are my Ideas to come:
What are some things you do to organize your space?

It is a smaller room then I currently have (a lot smaller), but it has a GREAT closet organizer that will be so handy! And don't you love that built in shelf?? Plus, there are 2 windows! Hello natural light!
Here are my Ideas to come:
- Colors: The walls will be a warm grey tone, nothing dark, just a little color for the room. I will accent the grey with Peacock Blue & Mustard. Which will be in wall coverings and photos, etc. The closet interior will be white.
- Pegboard: Okay I know pegboard isn't "pretty", but it will be functional (and pretty) when I'm done with it. I plan on painting the pegboard one of my accent colors. I will hang items I use often like tools, stamps, stickers, etc.
- Desk: My above desk will stay in the room. Of course much more organized then it currently is. When we move, I will set aside stuff I don't use anymore and put it in a box for my LSS's spring garage sale. The great thing about moving - is purging things I no longer use.
- Art: I want to line my walls with art created by myself or something I bought or received. I love being inspired and having that on the wall will be perfect! I will have altered canvas items, photo frames, Photography and whatever else I find inspiring
- Closet: The room already has 2 great elements of organization. (1) the closet and (2) the built in shelf. The closet has so many great shelves I can put containers on for easy access. In the tall hanging area, I plan on putting my "shoe" holders. I keep my yarn in these (and a few pairs of shoes that don't fit in the actually shoe one in the entryway closet. The built in shelf will host my sewing machine. Books and photos will line the shelves and in the cupboard I will store my fabric and other sewing items.
- Microwave Cart: I also have a rolling "microwave cart" from Target, which currently is a dumping grounds in my room. But once in the new space, it will be my Cricut Machine home as well as my hand cutting die cut machine home. My art supplies are currently on this as well - that will probably change and be stored in my closet.
- Plastic Drawers: This may be an obsession. I love clear plastic storage containers. I have one of those rolling drawers ones (i think there are 6 drawers). I bought this when I lived in California, it was my FIRST scrapbooking supplies holder, I can't imagine that being my only thing now. Currently, it is stuck in a corner and holds...well I'm not sure, I never go in it. This will be hosting my stamps when I move. My acrylic collection is growing (I no longer buy wood stamps).
- Plastic Containers: Target has these AWESOME containers that hold scrap papers and letters stickers perfectly!! They look like these but smaller and cost about $3.99 or something like that. I love them. I have 4 (scrap pattern paper, scrap cardstock, letter stickers & cling stamps) They stack nicely and they are CLEAR!
What are some things you do to organize your space?

Off Topic
I have started a new blog called "Demolition Gasper". It is for the progress on the house in Moorhead that Matt's parents own. Matt has been the landlord of it for a few years now and the tenets recently moved out. However, the house is so outdated and in desperate need of repair. We will be sharing photos, videos and progress posts on the blog. If you are interested, head over and subscribe. If you are in the process of demoing an area of your own house...you may learn something... from us or our mistakes ;)
Enjoy our progress if you would like. now back to your regularly scheduled Crafting blog.

Happy Friday
I have not got to create a whole lot lately, but in the past few days I've made a few cards in my "free" time (lunch time). I made 2 sets of 3 coordinating cards. I'm so pleased how they turned out.
I used Crate Paper pattern paper, Unity Stamps (KOTM), American Crafts Stamps, tattered angels mist, and my minds eye stamps.
Here are a few more examples of my Make & Take card (also Holiday Class project). If you are in the Twin Cities on October 30th, come check out the Holiday Event (check out my events section) and make one of these cards for yourself. OR if you are in the Fargo-Moorhead area sign-up for my Holiday Card class on November 6th!!
If you don't live near by you can still buy the supplies for this kit and the directions. Please email me to find out more information and pricing!
Head over to the MemoryWorks blog today to see a layout I created using a NEW My Minds Eye line and a sweet photo of my adorable nephew!

Spooky
I ♥ Halloween. It is so much fun! I recently got to play with the October MemoryWorks Express Kit. Filled with lots of Halloween related goodies. My favorite - the Damask paper.
Here are some of my projects. To view more inspiration from other designers head over to the MemoryWorks Blog.
So the first layout is actually not Halloween, but it shows you how versatile this kit can be! The paper actually has a white background, I used distress inks to add some color to it and match the papers in the kit.
One of the inside pages of the paper bag album
the tags that are located in the paper bag album. These are located in the bags and have journaling on the opposite side. It is a great way to add more photos to the album.
Some cards I created with the kit. I used Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist in Kiwi on the Boo Card!

Biz Cards & Stickers!!
My business cards & stickers are in!! I'm so excited about them and they are so freaking cute!
I ordered Mini Cards & Stickers from Moo.com. These are used when I package my coffee cozies I sell! I'm so happy with how it has all turned out. Bright & cheerful and professional looking.
These stickers are so cute! I made 9 different color combos! If you love these stickers for a project you are working on - you can use up to 90 different images! How awesome is that?
I also got my new business cards in the mail as well (regular sized). I ordered these through nextdayflyers.com. These are the same design as my mini cards. However, the back is slightly different from the mini cards. I love these cards and the matte texture of them!
Here they are straight on.
Do you like my new cards? Hope so. I'm so excited about them!!!!

A trip to the pumpkin patch
Saturday we took a trip to the pumpkin patch!
I went down to the cities this weekend to visit my brother, sister in law, nephew and my MOM!! She was in town visiting. Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch after Lucas woke up from his nap. I took a few pictures of him at the pumpkin patch (when I say a few - I mean 100)
And then Sunday we played outside in the leaves. I racked up the leaves and Lucas stood there and watched me.
I have been sick for the past couple of days, so my e-newsletter needs some work done to it still before I send it and I haven't been able to craft at all. But tomorrow I'll have time!! I can't wait!
Lucas picks out a pumpkin (which he ended up not getting).
Aw he is just the cutest thing EVER!!! I love this little guy so much! I am the luckiest Aunt in the world to have such an ADORABLE, sweet, fun, silly, amazing Nephew.

7 years
The month of October is Matt & my "anniversary month". We don't (and have never) had a specific day - rather the entire month. For 7 years now we have been dating. We've had ups and downs like all relationships. And we have grown together as a couple and individuals. He truly is my best friend, biggest support and the love of my life. He makes me laugh constantly, makes me feel great about myself, tells me I'm beautiful, hot, sexy, etc. (don't worry I tell him those things too - well not that he's beautiful...more like he's handsome). We have so much fun together, even our trips to the hardware store are fun and exciting. Trips to Target on Sundays though are not so fun. He HATES Target on Sunday.
If you really know Matt he is such a caring and giving person. Never asks for anything in return. I appreciate everything he does for me and acknowledge everything he does for others. I aspire to be like him. He is so generous.Matt is also very talented. He is an amazing dancer, instructor and trainer. He is business savvy as well. I know he wants to retire before he is 40 (I need to make some mucho bucks for him to do that), but I know people enjoy him as their instructor / trainer - so retiring by 40 may be out of the question.
The little things he does in life, make me smile. His sweet hugs and kisses, cuddles, jokes, funny dance moves around the house, his enthusiasm and excitement, his smile and his peaceful face when he is sleeping make me love him more and more every day.
Baby, if you are reading this (which you will because I will make you) - I love you to bits & pieces. You are my best friend and the love of my life. I look forward to many many more years together.

For the rest of you - sorry for my cheesy, romantic post. :) Thanks for reading this far if you did.
Thought I'd throw in an older picture from about 5 years ago...have we changed??
