MemoryWorks has their Pink Paislee items in stock. This is one of my favorite (if not my FAVORITE) scrapbooking brand. I love their designs, colors, papers, embellishments, stamps - okay all of it!! Well it is now IN STOCK!!!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Hocus Pocus
Look at these adorable rubons!! LOVE
Oh and the flip notes are a "HAVE TO HAVE!"
Parisian Anthology
This was one of my FAVORITE releases of the summer. Pink Paislee paired up with House of 3 to create this amazing line. Yes, it looks white and blank...but that is the thing - it's a BLANK canvas!! The paper has embossed images. Add Distress Ink, Ranger Mists (or other mists), water color paint, you name it!! Make it match any project!
These stamps are so freaking adorable and the price point is AWESOME!! $7.00 - you can't beat that!
Finally, this roll of tickets. There are 100 tickets! How cool is that?
These are just a FEW of the fantastic products MemoryWorks carries and that we carry in Pink Paislee. Check out my shopping area to view all the products. If you are interested in ordering, contact me or purchase directly from my site!
What is your favorite new line??

Mooo Stickers
I am very close to running out of business cards for LaceyBug Creations and so a reorder was needed. I did a slight redesign to the cards and ordered my regular sized ones through Next Day Flyers. I'm really excited about the design and having actual business sized cards!
I also needed to order my mini biz cards through Moo.com. There is so fun business items on their site. The mini cards are great and you could actually created a different design for EACH card! I attempted to do that and it was just a lot of work, so I redesigned my first Moo cards, which now match my regular sized business card.
ANWAY! The exciting NEW thing through Moo.com is they have stickers!! Each pack comes with 90 stickers. You could have 90 different designs. I have 10 and will be using them to package my items. For $9.99 I thought this was GREAT! Here are my sticker designs (uploading them to photobucket skewed the colors actually used...but you'll get the idea).
Honestly the colors are not so BRIGHT in the actual stickers created. I'm so excited to see these in person! I'll share them with you when they arrive!

bad blogger
Life has been... busy. But isn't it always. I haven't really had a chance to create too much lately. I did make a whole bunch of coffee cozy bases (which flowers will be added to shortly). I have probably 15 made in a rainbow of colors.
Here is my most recent batch of cozies... I think all of them are sold except one or 2. Remember though if you love one I can always make it again :)
I made these monkey's (special order) for my boss.
Some flower cozies
So that is just a little I've been working on. I have many many more coming.
I'm also holding a Holiday Card making class on November 6 here in town. Check out my EVENTS tab for information. And if you live in the Twin Cites - check out the Holiday vendor event happening Oct. 30!

Video - Distress Ink
I know, I know. There are MANY videos out there on Ranger Distress ink. But I thought I'd share with my e-newsletter readers and friends a QUICK tutorial on how to use these wonderful inks in a water color technique.
My friend Sandy is a mom of 4 (almost 5) and has little to no time to sit down and watch tutorial videos that are longer then 5 minutes long! Well after she said that and much thinking, I decided - I'm going to make videos of simple tutorials of products and page elements (embellishments) and show viewers in under 5 minutes!
Now, this is the FIRST video I have ever made and have ever edited. I know there are some spelling errors and some things I will want to change for next time, but I'm proud with how it turned out for my FIRST time. So be nice on me ;)
Alright there you have it! My first ever video.
Project Supplies
Ranger: Distress Ink
Ranger: Ink Blending Tool
Ranger: Non-stick Craft Mat (I think ANY crafter needs one)
Ranger: Mini Misters or Water bottle
Cardstock, tag or any other element you want to try the technique on

Knitting frenzy
There is something about fall and winter that makes me want to knit knit knit! I am constantly working on something and actually pick it up and want to finish it. Verses the summer where I start something and it gets finished in the fall.
This past weekend I knitted a set of Halloween wash clothes! They are super cute. I gave them to my boss because I know she would totally appreciate and love them.
I will probably make some Winter ones in the near future. I'm also working on some knitted Christmas gifts and more! So much to do so little time.

Photography Album
I love to dabble in photography. Taking headshots for the FM Ballet company and Gasper's School of Dance and photographing various elements in the world. I made a mini album that will hold some of my photography creations in it. The entire album is home made and uses my FAVORITE scrapbook line at the moment (Crate Paper: Restoration). I also used some stamps from Crafty Secrets that I won! They are AWESOME!

ATC - New MW Lines
A few months ago I thought of a "Light Bulb" idea. I was browsing blogs (like always) and Cosmo Cricket gave me an idea. As a MemoryWorks consultant I love showing people what we carry; however, sometimes it's hard to make a bunch of demo products that are portable, so I decided to create Artist Trading Cards that capture my favorite products that I carry as a MemoryWorks Independent Consultant.
I made 4 different Trading Cards today using 4 different lines.

Inking
I'm going to respond to a comment I received from Jenn on my Stamps post from a few days ago. I'm no expert stamper, but I do love to experiment, play and use stamps and I do have quite the collection of stamps.
Jenn Said: Oooh... good post. I love stamps too. My favorite cling stamp brand so far is HeroArts. I find their impressions are the most like rubber stamps. Sometimes other brands do not seem to work well with any inks I use. The ink beads up and changes the stamped image. Thoughts? Am I doing something wrong? I am dying to get some Unity stamps.
I have found when I use my Distress Inks the ink sometimes beads up or will give the look of water color (not crisp lines, rather bleeds into the page). I think the bleeding / sinking into the paper could be partly the paper thought sometimes.
I personally use Ranger Distress Inks or ColorBox Fluid Chalk inkpads. I sometimes use StazOn but personally wasn't a huge fan (maybe I need to use it more). As I was creating my demo stamp sheet, I realized my StazOn was dried out - so I didn't use this inkpad in my experiment.
Usually when I buy new stamps and before I use them, I clean them off with a wet / damp rag. I don't know why I do this, maybe to clean anything that could possibly get on them during the production process.
Also, sometimes I find that sometimes stamps have an almost oily feel to them sometimes, I feel that this contributes to the beading of the ink.
Here are some examples of stamping I played around with to show off the different inks I have at home in my stash. I used Color Box Fluid Chalk inkpad, Ranger Distress Ink & Memento.
This is the supplies I used. One set of stamps are brand new, never been used. I used Prism Cardstock for my stamping base.
Here is the example page of the inks with a variety of stamps.

Today I also labeled my Distress Ink - ink pads. My collection is starting to grow and I'm always digging through my stack to find the color I want. I got this idea from the Ranger blog.

- Distress Ink did just that, distressed the image. It didn't give a CLEAN, crisp image. But it didn't BLEED into the page as I thought it would. Sometimes it does this depending on the paper I use.
- ColorBox Fluid Chalk - This had the sharpest images. I felt that it stamped a clean, crisp, seamless image for the most part.
- Memento - This is a BRAND new inkpad, I opened it to use on this demo. I purchased it to use with my copic pens that I just recently purchased (yesterday). this stamped very well, but not as crisp as the colorbox ink. Very close though.
Today I also labeled my Distress Ink - ink pads. My collection is starting to grow and I'm always digging through my stack to find the color I want. I got this idea from the Ranger blog.
