Blog Hop: 100 Days of Summer

I love blog hops, I journey on them ALL the time.  You get so much inspiration from a topic, brand, or selection of paper or stamps.  They really inspire me to create (and buy).

Today the TeamWorks team will be taking you on a tour of the laid back Simple Stories line - 100 Days of Summer.  This line is so rich and filled with yellows, aquas, tomato red and greens.  The color combo is yummy!
The project I created for the hop is recycling those drink container holders and covering them up with some simply AWESOME papers.  This is perfect for a picnic, BBQ or gathering with friends or family!

I filled my drink holder with BBQ essentials.

Bottle of water
(decorated with the 100 Days of Summer line)

Other essentials in my drink container: Crystal Light packets, napkins, silverware, and finally Ketchup & Mustard - Grilling essentials!

And here is the backside of the drink holder.
Don't you just LOVE these papers!?!  Did you see some of the NEW Simple Stories | Unity Stamps??  I used the Banners and 100% Real Life.

Don't forget to start at the MemoryWorks blog and follow along the hop!  Leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win a Simple Stories Kit!!  The more blogs you comment on the better your odds are to win!

Lacey Igo (YOU ARE HERE)
Sheri (NEXT STOP)

And because I love giving things away!!  How about a personal give-away to one lucky commenter on my blog.  One lucky winner will win my FAVORITE New Simple Stories / Unity stamp - Snapshots! The instant I saw this stamp, I HAD to have it!!  So I hope you enjoy it as well!  I will pick a lucky winner tomorrow!  How CUTE is that stamp!!!
Oh and while you are at the Simple Stories blog, make sure to check out all their new lines!!!  Scrapbook kits, 6x6 paper pads and stamps!!! OH MY!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a SCRAPTASTIC day!

Okay...from the adorable idea of covering the drink holder (is it wrong that I rescued one from my trash can after reading so I can do this too? There were no gunkies on it! lol) to your necessity of Crystal Light IN said holder, I am with you, clever girlfriend! I love it! We do a lot of social events and the covered water bottles will work beautifully. You've inspired this girl...you're work here is not only done but BEAUTIFULLY done! Thanks!

Thanks for the great inspiration! Love the 100 Days of summer line! I have been slowly putting together an album using this line as I collect our summer memories. Really love this approach, it is so much simpler, (and thus it is actually happening.) I am looking forward to trying out the school line "elementary" and the birthday line and the "Life Documented" line. So fun.
