Simple Stories - Destinations
The newest line in the Simple Stories collection has been revealed and it will take you to NEW places!! Simple Stories is a line developed by the owner of MemoryWorks (Amber Crowell).
The Destinations line is A-MAZING! Seriously, when I first saw this line a few weeks ago, I was blown away and anxious to get my hands on it!! It is a great collection not only for your vacation photos, but also as a life journey album or year journey! The colors are bold and designs unique! So here it goes, check it out for yourself! Beware - LOTS of PHOTOS!
Destinations - Collection
Double Sided Paper (6)
All papers are double sided and nice & thick!! Don't you LOVE the those little journaling cards!! I ♥♥♥ them!!
12x12 Design Elements (6)
These elements are FABULOUS!! I love using them in the WRMK page protectors, but also great when creating mini albums & layouts to add different journaling areas & borders!
12x12 Sticker Sheets
These sticker sheets are on thick cardstock!! They are wonderful and add an extra element to your projects! I love the addition of an EXTRA sticker sheet. One focused on letter stickers (which I personally ♥) and one on some great images!
4x6 Transparency's
Each kit comes with 2 designs of each of the above transparency's. These are fantastic over photos or even over a journaling area!So there you have it!! The NEW Destinations collection! Head over to the Simple Stories BLOG for your chance to WIN!! And don't forget to befriend them on Facebook!
If you have any questions on the Simple Stories line, purchasing a kit for your self, or MemoryWorks questions...please let me know!

Valentine's Gift Guide
Well I have been a HORRIBLE blogger. With the house renovations, all my spare time has vanished. It is good though and I'm enjoying it and learning how to build things (and take things down).
I have been featured in a Valentine's gift Guide by a group of Etsy people.
Head over to the blog and check it out. Also you have MANY chances to win the $300+ prize package! I'm giving away that "Sweetheart Cozy".
This cozy but reversed.
So head on over :D

Unfinished...
How many UNFINISHED projects do you have? Seriously, ones you have set aside for a later date. I have one too many sitting collecting dust, WAITING for me to finish it. This goes for knitting, digital design items and scrapbooking.
So here is my goal. I want to finish projects!
1. 2010 Year in Review - this album is completed for the most part, except for photos and journaling. I used MemoryWorks - Simple Stories Life Documented line and paired it up with Pink Paislee's 365 Degree paper line. There are a few months below. You can see that I'm partially completed, just need to add photos, some extra embellishments & journaling
2. Dish towel - I made a set of dish towels for my Sister in law & brother for xmas. Well... I made one and have started on the 2nd one. It is HUGE and takes forever. Simple pattern though. Now to sit down & complete it!
3. My Nephew's 2010 photo album - Each year (well he's only 1 year 11 months) I make a digital photo album that I get printed for my family featuring our biggest joy in life - my nephew. I have started the album, but there are SO many photos to choose from it takes awhile to pick out favorites! Merry Christmas family, this album will be completed before his birthday!
I have many projects that I haven't even started yet too, that are set aside waiting for me to do it. Some knitting projects, digital design, scrapbooking and of course house / home decor projects! I need more time!

Cozies in the new year
I have been working on some NEW (or one new) coffee cozy design. This one is called "Sweetheart". Just in time for Valentine's day, this sweet cozy will melt anyone's coffee loving heart.
Here are a few that are being added to my Etsy Shop. I have a few other colors and some I will have to retake photos of tomorrow, since they didn't upload. I'm still working on some "Hair Candy" items before those are added to my shop...so stay tune.

New Year Resolutions
Well like every year, I'm setting some New Year Resolutions. I am being realistic :)
1. Cook meals at home vs. eating out. This one is IMPORTANT. We eat out WAY too much. This past week though, we ate at home for every meal. The other part of this resolution is to make actual meals vs. quick things all the time like PB & J or pasta and sauce. So tonight my resolution began. I bought a cook book today at B&N (Quick Fixes with Mixes). I also have Flat Belly Diet! Cookbook in my amazon cart. I'm excited to get this one. So tonight I made a chicken / spinach pasta bake and it was so yummy and super easy to make. I was proud of myself. 1 meal down for 2011....many many more to come!
2. Staying organized. At work this is NOT a problem. At home and in my personal life - HUGE problem. I have clutter piles everywhere! Seriously, it's bad. I want to get a calendar to organize bills, birthdays, appts., and major events. I also want to stay organized when it comes to my "LaceyBug Creations" stuff...(knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, crafting). I have started by putting my Etsy invoices in a 3 ring binder by month. I will also need to manage my MemoryWorks TeamWorks documents as well in a 3 ring binder (I am Team Leader again this year...soexcited about the team!!).
As of right now those are my 2 resolutions. I don't want to overwhelm myself. :) I think both though are time consuming and need the focus to make them succeed. I look forward to what the new year brings me! Can't wait to do some more cooking! I need mixing bowls now :)
