My Project Description

This year I decided to dive into a Project Life album. However, I'm titling mine: Year in My Life. I didn't want to be stuck in the sense that I NEED to do a spread weekly. I know this is not what project life is completely, but I feel like there were so many unspoken standards behind it, so titling it my own way gives me more freedom. I'm also not working with one specific paper line. Instead I will combine the Clique Kits with papers in my stash and my own designs to really speak my personality. Finally, if I don't get a spread done weekly, so be it. Some months may be one spread for the whole month, I want the freedom of doing my own thing.

My Projects

So saying that, lets start with January and what I've create so far. I decided I want to start and end the month with a 12x12 layout. Highlight my FAVORITE two memories of that month. These don't have to be huge events, but just something I found extra special.

Here is my first 12x12 layout for January.

Supplies: Carta Bella - Wildflower (12x12 - Field of Flowers, 6x6 paper pad); Studio Calico - Gold Letter Stickers; LaceyBug Creations (Flair, Camera Die cut, Arrow printable); Washi; Twine; Gems; Felt Ribbon; Wood Veneer.

And I've also completed some spreads for the month already. I used the Carta Bella - Wildflower collection and coordinating embellishments, put together by kit coordinator Gia Lau. I also incorporated some of my own personal designed embellishments as well.

Beyond my YIML (year in my life) album, I created a layout using a photo from my wedding this past summer (photo taken by the TALENTED and amazing Bernadette Pollard). I was inspired by the feminine papers and embellishments and felt that our crazy expressions really fit the paper line.
Supplies: Carta Bella - Wildflower (12x12 - 4x6 Journal Card; 6x6 paper pad); Fancy Pants - Corrugated Paper; Bella Blvd - Feather; Silhouette - die cut feather; LaceyBug Creations (Flair, label printables); Studio Calico: Gold Letter Chipboard, Wood Veneer Camera, gold letter stickers; Lace Trim; Fabric; Peach Cardstock; Gold sequin trim; Roller stamp.

Clique Kits

I'm so excited to finally announce a new adventure I'm apart of with three other amazing and talented ladies! Jody Spiegelhoff, Gia Lau and Erica Thompson! We are starting a NEW paper crafting kit club coming this spring! IN the mean time, we'll be having some blog hops previewing what's to come!

My role in the whole process. I will be working on developing exclusive products and printables for our kits! How awesome is that?! I'm so excited to share my designs. You will see printables, flair, handmade embellishments and die cuts! These will be available to kit subscribers.

Don't worry, we will have some free printables throughout the year as well. With the launch of Clique Kits (yesterday) we released one of these free printables! I designed two sizes of printable calendar cards, they come in 3x4 or 4x6. You can download them from the Clique Kits site. Here is what they look like!

We also have a blog share coming up January 23rd with a few other scrappy friends, be sure to join us, check out some inspiration and get yet another printable! YES Another freebie!! Wahoo!

We are also social, so check us out at the following: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.

December Daily 2013

I decided to do a December Daily in 2013. I got the album ready in November and filled it with pictures (partial right now as I wait on the others from shutterfly) and decorated the pages with coordinating embellishments during the month of December / January.

Here are the results!
