New Etsy Stuff

I added some new coffee cozies to my Etsy store - LaceyBug Creations! I'm so excited about this addition. I have added Coffee Cozy birdies and a pig! I think they are adorable and will definitely set your coffee cup apart from the rest of the patrons. Currently, I have "Phil" and "Ginger" my two birdies. And also "Happy" my little piggy! I'm hoping to add more animals soon.

I have also added some more basic coffee cozies.

My first newsletter will be released tomorrow, if you wanted to be added to the list either email me, facebook me or sign-up right here on my blog (located on the left hand side). I'm really excited about my crafters e-newsletter and happy to share my love for crafting with those who also love crafting.

I'm holding a scrapbooking class on February 19, 2010. If you live in Fargo and are interested, please contact me!

Snow Day!

It is "blizzarding" outside. Which I think it's just incredibly windy and blowing the snow... which is what is going on. I woke up and got ready for work, called my boss and he said to come in at 9:30am. So at 9:30am I started to drive to work... I got 1/4 of mile from my apt... it was HORRIBLE. I could barely see in front of me, the drifts sucked. So I pulled over and called to say it was bad and wasn't sure if I would make it there. So I will try again at 1pm.

I'm having a Vikings hangover this morning. So sad that the dirty Saints beat my beloved Vikings! The Vikes played a good fair game. I wish they were going to Superbowl. I will be cheering on the Colts now.

In crafting world. Winter CHA is happening right now. I have seen a lot of sneak peeks that will break the budget. Can't WAIT to see what MemoryWorks comes up with for their Spring 2010 Catalog.

Today and tonight I will be working on some knitting to put up on Etsy! I have some half made Coffee Cozies to complete. To the left is just one thing I'm adding to my Etsy site (yes I know it's not knitting). It is a mini 4x6 album. Just add photos and there are journaling areas to add comments. I have 2 of these albums completed to sell.

As for the knitting, I'm adding cute animal coffee cozies to my store! I can't WAIT to share these with the world. I can do custom orders for them as well; if anyone is interested. The animal coffee cozies will be available this week for purchase.

MemoryWorks Simple Story paper line is STILL Available! Contact me to order it for yourself!

Lucas Mini Album

Today I actually got a chance to scrapbook. SHOCKER! I rarely scrapbook for myself anymore. I'm often completing projects or challenges or blog stuff. Today, I got a chance to finish an album that I wanted to do when Lucas was born.

About 5 months ago I put the polk-a-dot paper on the cover of the album and that is as FAR as I got. I had it all set aside waiting for me to complete it.

So I thought with the snowy weather, it would be a perfect day to play with Fancy Pants Kraft paper and finish this album. I made a homemade latte in.

To check out the whole album, go to my website, A Swirl of Memories. I have it posted in my blog on there as well as a few photos in my gallery.

I have been trying to purge my scrapbook papers and supplies. I have so much that I have not used or even looked at in years. I'm sending my friend Sandy's daughters a box of goodies! I wish I would be there to see their reaction.

I also recently decided when I'm complete with a mini-album and paper line. To get rid of ALL small scraps I know I won't use. And my goal when creating is to USE the supplies I have and use as much of it as possible, so I don't have a lot left over.

When I put together my MemoryWorks Simple Stories, I used all the paper except for a 4x6 piece. I had some stickers left over. I created 26 pages with the kit! I have some previews of my album in my gallery!

Happy Saturday! I'm glad I got to be creative today!

MW Newsletter and Simple Stories

MemoryWorks released their new product line Simple Stories on friday! I received it from Home office last week to start creating inspiration for consultants and customers. Can I just say - the papers are AWESOME! And the quality is great.

It seriously takes me only 10 - 30 minutes per page. These are 12 x 12 pages!! The multi-page protector pack is a MUST! It makes it soo easy to work with the system. I am putting a class plan together to make it even easier. I plan to teach the class here in Fargo if anyone is interested. Shoot me an email at lacey.memoryworks@gmail.com.

I am almost done with mine. It will be 26 pages when I'm finished! And I'm so pleased how it turned out. MemoryWorks is planning on releasing more lines for Simple Stories in the future! So keep your eyes out for them. But in the meantime - don't pass up the chance to get your hands on this kit!

Also, I have decided to start a MemoryWorks newsletter for friends, family and customers who are interested with what is going on with MemoryWorks. If you want to sign-up, please email me at lacey.memoryworks@gmail.com and title your email: Newsletter. I will add you to my list!!

If you have questions about MemoryWorks or Simple Stories, please let me know!

Etsy - Coffee Cozies

I started selling stuff on Etsy again (Etsy is a website to sell homemade goods). It has been a few years since I have sold on Etsy. I was trying to find the RIGHT thing for me to sell.

I am currently selling coffee cozies. These stylish coffee cozies are a perfect touch to your Coffee shop drinks! Whether you get coffee, tea or coco - style your mug with one of my Coffee cozies.

More designs coming soon - including cozies for mugs!! If you are interested in a custom color or color combination, please email me to let me know - jabberboxmarketing@gmail.com.

Also, I will be working on some fingerless gloves to also add to my shop. Now that December is over and all my holiday orders are done... I have time to fill my Etsy Shop!

And I don't stop there!! I will also be adding some mini scrapbook albums as well. They will make a perfect gift or a great way to showcase your own photos. These albums are 4x6. I have 2 (or 3) completed and need to upload to the site.

To check out my Etsy shop or purchase go to LaceyBug Creations Etsy Shop!!!
