New Stampy Finds

I'm ADDICTED to stamps. Seriously! I'm always looking for cute new images and companies. I love stamps because you can use them over & over & over again. I only buy cling or acrylic stamps though. I stopped buying wood stamps about 2 or 3 years ago now. Living in an apt and moving often makes it hard to collect these type of stamps. But I'm okay and moved onto the world of cling & acrylic stamps. Here are a FEW companies I found that I adore. What are some of your favorite stamps or stamp brands??

• Clear Art Stamps (I just won a set on their blog!! I'm beyond thrilled!) These vintage stamps are so beautiful, yummy and amazing pieces of art! I won the set to the left!
• Papertrey Ink - this company has some adorable designs that I can't WAIT to get my hands on. I adore these Friendship Jar fall fillers stamps. Their blog is FILLED with amazing inspiration!
• Unity Stamp Co. - I know I've mentioned them before, but I just ADORE their stamps. I'm seriously considering signing up for their monthly kit club. It's just not in the budget at the moment. But maybe I can for a few months soon. This months set is so freaking adorable!! That company is filled with amazing talent! Don't you LOVE those chairs?!? too cute!
• Tim Holtz Stamps by Stampers Anonymous - if you ♥ Tim Holtz then you {love} these stamps! I love his vintage quirky designs! They are any stamper, crafter, scrapbooker, ATC creators DREAM! Also, check out his components stamps! I have one of them and I love it. They fit perfectly on an ATC and they are cling stamps! Fantastic!
  

It's been awhile

I have not been a good blogger :( Oops.

Dance classes started this week, so after work I head to the studio to help out. Next week I will have more of a schedule. I did want to share a layout I created for the Sketch Challenge on the MemoryWorks Studio.

Can you believe it is already the school year!?! Wowee! I'm enjoying taking dance classes and being active in dance again. My body is wondering what the heck I'm doing though!

Zumba Madness

Soooo it is registration week at Gasper's School of Dance (Fargo, ND). This year we revamped some of classes and added a "fitness program" called - G Fitness. It is an exciting addition to the dance studio this year. As the studio's main focus is still on it's dance classes, technique and learning, we have found the outlet for fitness to be huge and wanted to make it affordable with no gym membership fees or registration fees.

Anyway! This week we are offering FREE Trial classes. Last night we had Zumba & Positive Motion and tonight we have Cardio Karate @ 7:15pm and Circuit Training @ 8:30pm.

So last night I took Zumba class. This was the first time taking it. It was a lot of fun. And we had a HUGE turnout. There had to be over 35 people in the room. Lots of fun was had! We have 3 Fitness Staff members.

• Patrick Kasper (Postive Motion & Cardio Karate) - Patrick is also one of the tap teachers at the studio
• Jill Lawrence (Zumba)
• Matt Gasper (Circuit Training, Cardio Karate, Personal Training). Matt is part owner of GSDPA, he is a classically trained Ballet Dancer but can teach and dance it all. Very well rounded dancer. He is also a certified personal trainer (he's awesome and my boyfriend).

August Express Kit

I LOVE MemoryWorks - August 2010 Express kit. It was filled with fantastic, bright papers and fun little embellishments. I adore the flower included on the layout below! Mini CREATION

So I have been playing around with accordion albums. These are FANTASTIC, they are pretty quick to make and the results are awesome. This is the first one I created.

"What i love about you Sweet Lucas"

I used the MemoryWorks June Express Kit. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the kit and this turned out to be the PERFECT solution. I will add photos of my sweet nephew in here. But right now there is just kraft paper in place of where the photos will go.





Oh and have i said - he calls me "AUNI!!!" That is auntie for those who don't understand baby talk. I was so excited!!! Seriously I teared up on my drive home last weekend because it made me so happy! :) Love this special boy!

My Space

I'm definitely not an ORGANIZED person when it comes to my personal life. Work, my desk is always clean. But my scrapbook desk, not so much. I'm lucky to have a space to create on and keep it there (thank you Matt). I have stuff stored in the closet and around the room. It isn't necessarily my DREAM space (well okay it's not). But it works for me really great right now. And actually when we move - it probably takes up more boxes then any other room (super sad, I know).

Well here is my space :) Thanks for checking out. Off to knit!

Inspiration Journal

I played more with my inspiration journal! Here is my latest creation. I created some paper pinwheels and added stems to them to turn them into "flowers". The stems are painted on with water color paint. I also added a chipboard sticker. The background is Ranger ink, which I rubbed on my craft mat and sprayed with a water bottle. Enjoy!
