It's almost the end of AUGUST!

Here I am once again - not updating my life. This past month has been very busy (who knows why). I haven't really gotten any scrapbooking done lately. My weekends have been busy. The first weekend of August Matt & I went to a wedding in the cities - it was a beautiful wedding. My friend Sarah got married. She looked stunning. Than I had a weekend off. Oh the weekend before the wedding I went to a Bachlorette party in SOUTHERN MN. A friend from college is getting married this winter.

Than I had pretty much 2 weekends off. WE went to the lake last weekend because MAtt's sister & brother in law were up visiting. That was fun. I sat inside and watched the olympics with Matt's dad the whole day.

Olympics - I'm addicted!! I love watching everything and have found out how much it sucked watching gymnastics this year... This scoring system sucks!!! I didn't even enjoy watching gymnastics b/c of it. I cheered Michael Phelps on in all his races and I was so excited to watch Misty May & Kerry Walsch play again and win that gold!!! How awesome. So the olympics overall have been awesome!!!

I got a gym membership over a week ago. Which is taking up a lot of my evenings. I met with a personal trainer this week, he helped me learn the machines and put together a workout plan for me to follow. I'm really excited about it and to tone up and get in shape again!! I think my life is going to revolve around the gym now. I just have to get the eating part right (always the hard part...eating right and not crap all the time).

I bought a new point & shoot camera last weekend. I got this cutie! I downgraded from my last point & shoot (which the LCD screen was broken on)...but this one is cute and it will do the job. I mainly use my point & shoot if I'm going out (bars, parties, day trips, etc). If I don't want to lug my dSLR or the place is just not dSLR friendly. I usually have my p&s in my purse at all times - you never know when a photo op may come!

Alright as this blog has no importanence to anyone but myself... I'm glad I documented a month in my life.

This weekend I'm heading to brainerd area for Liz's Bachlorette weekend! I plan on taking LOTS of pictures with my new p&s!! So I'll post some soon. There are a few scrapbook pages I would like to post as well. I'll get around to it - eventually.

If you want...

Took this from a friends blog - comment if you want :)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see all the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume your playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave one about you.

Found it

I found a blog that has the WRMK catalog. Check it out here (plus there is MUCH more peeks on this site of what people saw at CHA... pretty much entire catalogs! SWEET)!! Look at how awesome the Halloween line is. OH AND WRMK is coming out with a CIRCLE CUTTER (Magnetic Circle Cutter). Since I LOVE their Crop-a-dile (i have the original and Big Bite) - I'm sure this will be a must have tool as well. And if you haven't see the crafters mat set - super cool. Check out my site to purchase one.

WRMK Crafters Mat

Sweet huh?

I'm so glad I found those papers finally.

Also, I think I have a bad addiction called Bella & Edward. Yeah - I walk to the dance studio to go to class and instead of listening to my ipod (like i always do). I read Eclipse while walking from my apt to the studio. I didn't want to drive b/c that would mean I couldn't read (even though it's only a 2 - 3 minute drive). I know super addiction. Matt thinks I'm crazy and looking at me funny. It's just hard to put down. I have a serious addiction...and it's going to be hard to break. I'm going to be sad when there are no books left to read... I guess I will just have to reread them. :)

Check out the Twlight site for trailers of the movie!!! OMG too excited.

Bad Blogger

I've been a bad bad BAD blogger. It's been a while since I've updated. I've been eyeing all the new products in the scrapbooking world in the last few weeks. CHA - summer was this past week/weekend. My favorites are still my favorites.

I'm loving the following companies: (like always) We R Memory Keepers, Pink Paislee, October Afternoon, Maya Roads, and Making Memories (this company is really starting to impress me). I am seeing a lot of Christmas lines and Halloween lines. I'm loving MME Christmas Line "Be Merry" & "Snowed In". Not to mention Fancy Pants Holiday Line "Happy Holidays". I'm loving the WRMK halloween line. It's called black out. I can not find the picture I had found earlier. But I love it!

Something cool I saw over at Lifetime Moments is BasicGrey has come out with fabric. How awesome is that!!! Check it out here. It is located toward the bottom of the post.

So there you have it - some of the things I've been eyeing. I'm hoping MemoryWorks picks up Pink Paislee & October Afternoon - that would rock. Oh and also Maya Roads!

I've also been addicted to the Twilight Series. Last night I finished New Moon and bought Eclipse. PLUS, I've already pre-ordered the new book. I can't wait to read them all and read them all again. And than see the movie!!! How did I become so addicted to another "teen" series of books. I still haven't finished Harry Potter - because I don't want it to end. I'm pathetic I know.

I will post stuff soon. Including Calendar pages for June & July!

Happy Belated 4th!

I had a wonderful weekend. My parents came to visit me in Fargo!! Since I moved back to Fargo in 2005 my mom has been up to visit 1 time and my dad not at all. So this weekend my parents, my brother, sister-in-law, and my grandma & grandpa came to visit me. It was so much fun. The weather was also really nice.

Friday - we went grocery shopping and grilled on my patio. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. My dad grilled chicken, asparagus, potatoes, and peaches. It was a very relaxing day. On saturday we walked around downtown. It was SO hot on saturday. Close to 90 or in the 90's. I showed them the dance studio as well.

I just had a wonderful weekend with my family. I'm so glad they came up to visit.

Matt was in NYC this weekend for his brother's wedding. He got back after 2am this morning. He was a tired boy when he woke up.

I want to share some pictures from my parents visit. These are a few of my favorites!

My dad grilling

Grandpa, Grandma, Dad, Mom & Brother on a train (it's stationed - it never moves)

My sister in law & brother. This picture looks like it's a still frame from a movie

If you don't know anything about her (I didn't till the retreat) - pick up her book "Photo Freedom". It's awesome!

MemoryWorks Retreat and more

OH my - I just realized my last post was from May! I either have a boring life this month or it is really busy. HAHA. Well Summer classes started at the dance studio the other week. So that has kept my evenings busy. Matt's aunt and uncle were in town visiting. That kept us busy. And week/weekend - was the most fabulous retreat every - MEMORYWORKS 2008 RETREAT. OMG was it amazing.

I will post pictures later - but this past weekend I got to meet some really awesome people! Everyone was so awesome to be around. I am very inspired and ready to go home and scrap! The MemoryWorks home office is some of the most amazing people I've ever met. Right when Kari & I walked into the Davis Conference Center - I spotted Kevin & Amber right away. They are both amazing people. They have the biggest hearts and are so kind. Aw they are just great!

Stacy Jullian was awesome. She had great things to teach on how to organize and make your scrapbooking more efficent. It was great. I wrote down at one point - I'm not a "typical" scrapbooker. I don't scrap in order and I'm never behind. We were so fortunate to get her book and autograph. She is a neat person to talk to. She is real and down to earth.

I have so many pictures I want to post - which I will do later this evening or week.

Wedding Mini-album

Alright - here is the mini album I made Matt's brother & soon to be wife. I hope they don't read my blog. lol. It is a great little album because they don't have to find weird sized photos to put in it. And they don't HAVE to use it for wedding photos. Red & Black are just their wedding colors. Thanks for checking it out!
