I don't often make a lot of "Valentine" layouts because most layouts I make are of Matt & I anyway. But I saw the BasicGrey - True Love papers and knew it was a perfect match for other PINK paper I had at home. And I came up with the layout below.
With a heart punch, I punched out hearts of various pink pattern papers I had in my stash and adhered them to a cream background. I add these to the BasicGrey True Love paper line that I recently purchased. I also added some of my die cuts to the page.
I didn't stop there. I also created a few cards with these papers. The first 2 cards are mini cards (3" x 4"). These are also for sale in my Etsy shop.
This card is a 4.25" x 5.5" card. I used a wood grain embossing folder on the base of the card.
Thanks for checking out my projects I created this weekend! :)

Crafty Time
Between wedding planning, desiging for the studio and MemoryWorks assignments, I do find some crafty time. Here are two layouts I've made recently.
Last summer Matt & I went to NYC, Matt took classes and I hung out. We got to see his brother, sister in law and niece. I love this picture of Maya holding hands with her Uncle Matt in NYC.
Supplies: Simple Stories - Fabulous, Silhouette Machine, Studio Calico Wood Snowflakes - Wonderland, Buttons, Flowers, Tag, Mist
More crafty things to come in the next few weeks. I'll share some images from my Simple Stories Sn@p album I designed and taught a class on this past weekend at my local scrapbook store - K & Krafts and I hope to work on some Valentine cards, layouts, and other fun items. Thanks for stopping by!

TeamWorks 2013 - Introductions
I'm so excited to kick off this blog hop and serve as the Design Team Leader again in 2013! Sheri & I are both excited and ready for an amazing year with the rest of the team. There are some new and old faces that will bring a lot of fantastic inspiration to the MemoryWorks consultants and to the scrapbooking community!
We are sharing projects that we submitted when we tried out for the 2013 team. This is a chance for you to get to know our different styles and get to know us!! So here we go!
Lacey Igo | Team Leader
Lacey has been a member of the TeamWorks team since 2007 and a consultant with MemoryWorks since November 2005. She has been scrapbooking since 2000; but has dabbled in many crafts since a young age including sewing and stamping (thanks to her mom). Lacey reside in Moorhead, MN (which she thinks is the coldest place on earth) with her fiance Matt. In the fall of 2011, she went back to school getting her 2nd BFA in Graphic Design at the Academy of Arts University. In her spare time when she is not doing school work (or working), Lacey loves scrapbooking, photography, knitting / crocheting items for her Etsy site, dancing, running, and marketing for a local dance company and studio. Some of Lacey’s favorite products that MemoryWorks carries are Simple Stories, Crate Paper and Ranger Distress Inks. She is thrilled to be on the MemoryWorks TeamWorks and be able to guide and lead the team once again this year.
